Adirondack Health is committed to providing a wealth of resources to educate and inform our community about ways to stay healthy, prevent illness and make the right treatment choices for urgent or chronic medical conditions.
The Decker Community Learning Center, located on the ground floor of the Redfield Medical Office Building at Adirondack Medical Center, serves patients and families of the Adirondack region by providing personalized education sessions and reference resources on a variety of health and wellness topics. You do not need to be a patient who was treated at AMC to receive this service.
Recognizing there is a wealth of health information available through numerous sources, the center is dedicated to providing the most accurate and trustworthy resources. We can also help you find reliable information on the ever-growing world of complementary and integrative medicine.

Additional hours by appointment
A registered nurse is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and by appointment at other hours to help you through the medical information maze. You can be sure that the information at the Decker Community Learning Center is the most up-to-date and accurate available.
