State vaccination sites

New York State is conducting COVID-19 vaccine clinics 7 days a week for eligible New Yorkers. Regionally, two sites are available at SUNY Potsdam and Plattsburgh International Airport. If you are eligible for the vaccine you can sign up here: https://am-i-eligible.covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/.

The state has also set up a vaccine hotline for those who would prefer to communicate over the phone. The number is: 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (that’s 1-833-697-4829).

V-Safe

What is V-safe? V-safe is a smartphone-based tool that uses text messaging and web surveys to provide personalized health check-ins after you receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Through V-safe, you can quickly tell the CDC if you have any side effects after getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Depending on your answers, someone from CDC may call to check on you. And V-safe will remind you to get your second COVID-19 vaccine dose if you need one.
