PSYCHIATRIST - Hospital Employed
This is a hospital employed position featuring a seven day on-seven day off work schedule. This is an outpatient position, Monday through Friday during the seven days on, with inpatient, adult on-call duties as backup to the inpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for the full seven days. The on-call duties tend to be light and would involve authorizing appropriate admissions, and completing the initial evaluation for new admissions. The Psychiatrist must be board certified and have an unrestricted license to practice medicine and is able to see patients of all ages. PHYSICIAN'S ASSISTANT- Full-time
Adirondack Health is offering a full-time position for a physician’s assistant to work alongside an Albany Medical Center Hospital fellowship-trained vascular surgeon who has been in practice since 1999. Responsibilities would include seeing patients in the office, care of hospitalized patients, and assisting in the operating room. Responsibilities might also include participating in the wound center. While the physician's assistant would be responsible for the service when the vascular surgeon is away, there would be no nighttime or weekend call.

The Adirondack Medical Center vascular service provides a broad spectrum of open and endovascular treatment of vascular disease. The operating room is fully equipped with a hybrid suite. New graduates from the physician’s assistant program who have demonstrated aptitude in the surgical specialties are welcome to apply.
